Visakhapatnam, known as Vizag, hosts weddings and functions in its coastal function halls, kalyana mandapams, hotels and open grounds along the beach road. On this page: tent houses for weddings, receptions, festivals and community gatherings.
Tent houses supply the physical frame of an outdoor event: the pandal or shamiana, seating, flooring, stage and often lighting. Because equipment is hired by the day, availability on popular dates and the condition of the material matter more than the headline rate.

How to choose a tent house in Visakhapatnam
- Visit the godown or ask for recent photos of the actual stock; tent fabric, chairs and carpets vary widely in condition.
- Check weather cover. Waterproof roofing and a drainage plan are essential for the monsoon and for sudden showers.
- Confirm fire-safety basics such as extinguisher placement and clear exits, especially with kitchens or lighting nearby.
- Agree on the set-up window. A day-before set-up is common for large events; confirm crew arrival time and venue permission.
- Ask about damage and loss terms for chairs, carpets and decor items, and how any deposit is returned.
- Sea breeze and humidity affect tent fabric and decor; ask vendors for materials suited to coastal conditions.

How big a tent do I need for my event in Visakhapatnam?

Can a tent house also provide chairs, stage and lighting?
Many tent houses offer chairs, tables, stage and mandap structures, carpets and basic lighting under one quote. Ask for an itemised list so you can compare it with separate decorators or lighting vendors.
Is a deposit usually required when hiring a tent house?
